The supple D on the shank allows the bait to move freely and the Ronnie presentation allows the bait to be close to the lake bottom and primed, ready to catch out the carp. When a carp picks up the bait the hook is already sat at an aggressive angle and primed to catch hold in the bottom lip or scissor. When the carp tries to eject the bait the suppleness of the D section allows the bait to separate from the hook shank and allow the hook to take hold. A perfect rig to keep in your rigsafe along with the similar Slip D German Rig or Turbo German Rig We provide an alternative to Korda Kickers via utilising various colour shrink tubing. As standard we provide SILT TUBING which blends in perfectly with most lakebeds. If you prefer a brighter colour such as Sweetcorn, Bloodworm, Weed etc then please let us know. As far as hookbaits go, the list is vast. You can use fake baits such as corn, maize, tigernuts etc, or a popup with some real or fake maggots (a deadly winter tactic) or a popup straight out of the tub. If you want to go even further you can drill out boilies, tigernuts, wafters etc and insert some cork to create your own unique hookbaits. To get the best performance from the Spinner Rig you should use a Wafter but you can also use a Popup which will be low to the lakebed. Available in sizes 4,6,8 in either Micro Barb or Barbless (we do not crush barbs or modify in any way) The Boom section is made with a stiff Clear Boom and will blend in to many different types of substrate and fool any wary carp into taking your bait. The stiff boom also allows the bait to kick away from the lead and also give excellent anti tangle and reset properties. The rig mechanics then allow the hook to turn 360 degrees so the rig can be picked up from any angle and it will instantly flip to allow the hook to take hold. We have a few different Amnesia boom colours available for this rig from Clear, Silt to our new Camo Fleck Boom. Amnesia is believed to be better that Korda Boom by many anglers. As the boom is memory free you don’t need steam to straighten it out if it gets kinked after landing a fish.
