The vest “Shark” is designed for heavy use, even in hot climates: when the waist fasteners are set slightly loose, the vest balances on the wearer’s torso allowing breathing room between the plate carrier and the wearer’s skin. Loose wearing of the vest is not advisable during combat, but having the option prevents the need for removal of the vest to cool down during non-combat. The front and back of the vest have full-size pockets, exterior to the Kevlar “IIIA Soft Armor”, which are hard armor plate ready. Adding hard armor to the vest would increase its front and rear ballistic rating to III or IV (depending on the plates you choose to add). Hard armor plates are not included in this auction. Independent of the exterior pockets for hard armor plates, the entire surface of the vest, neck and shoulder pads, and groin pad are fitted with custom-cut IIIA Kevlar ballistic armor. The Kevlar armor is bendable and lightweight making it an ideal choice for balancing protection and maneuverability. The Kevlar armor is enclosed within the water-resistant fabric of the vest making it suitable for all but the wettest of conditions. Modular vest “Shark”, has an improved ergonomic configuration of security elements and also allows to use them depending on the specific tasks and the likely threats. Very convenient and practical in the real world. On the entire surface of the bulletproof vest there is a webbing system MOLLE, to which equipment and ammunition can be attached. All belt lines MOLLE vest have the same color in the color of the vest. Webbing has maximum breaking loads. The “Shark” vest is a modular system and can be completely disassembled.
