You are bidding on one interesting original millwork catalogue as pictured, but it has some condition issues including the cover is missing.It is marked in part “PUBLISHED BY DEMPSEY, KIMSEY & DOWNS ………. PORTLAND, OREGON COPYRIGHT, 1939”.8-1/2″ by 11″, 64 pages. The pictures give examples of what is illustrated, which the front page describes as “DESIGN BOOK and LIST PRICES for DOORS, WINDOWS, SASH, FRAMES, MOULDING, TRIP, and MISCELLANEOUS STOCK MILLWORK”. 3 of the pages have the doors illustrated in the dark brown color. Again, the outside cover is missing. The pages have a string binding, which is starting to come loose at the ends but all of the pages are still tightly bound to each other. The upper corner has some obvious water stains, and some of the pages in that upper corner have some warping and are lightly stuck to each other. Everything is legible, and I don’t see any writing or marking anywhere. SHIPPING: Under 1 pound, shipped in a stiff cardboard mailer, shipped USPS Ground Advantage, insurance is included. No International shipping. I sell what I enjoy, and I collect antique woodworking tools and I enjoy photography! The Post Office now has several prices increases during each year, raising a few things but not everything at each increase. And they now raise their rates during the Holidays, which means early October to late January. Their big increases are in January, timed to start at the end of the Holiday rates, and this year is no exception. And it’s not just the postage rates, the insurance charges and the delivery signature charges have also gone up. There is now a surcharge for Priority Mail packages over 20″ long, and another for Priority Mail packages over 30″ long, because those longer packages won’t fit in their automatic machines. And the Post Office has discontinued the Regional Flat Rate boxes, which were often less expensive for certain sizes and weights. I try to pick the best shipping option for each listing, based both on what is the least expensive and on what I think is needed to protect the item. If the value is $250 or over, eBay requires your signature at delivery for the buyer and seller protections to be in effect.SALES TAX: Interstate sales tax is now the reality on all the major selling websites including eBay. If I ship to a state where eBay is required to collect sales tax, eBay will charge you the sales tax for your location. There is lots of information available from eBay that explains it in much more detail.
