In this collection will find not only the episode itself but no less than five individual different versions of the commercial promoting the premiere of the original episode as well. Later in 2010 an updated version of that original episode (“Behind The Music Remastered”) with updated footage and new interviews with the band in the last two segments of the episode thus making it “remastered” and minus Andy Taylor who appears only from archive interviews sourced from the the original episode in 1999. Finally the most recent episode of “Behind The Music” with brand new interviews that encompass a majority of this nearly completely new episode of behind the music in 2021 (focusing eventually on the new LP PAST PRESENT) with some clips from the original episode but again majority of this episode is completely new with exclusive interviews that were made specifically for this documentary. Ironically Andy Taylor was the one this time around who declined to be interviewed for this “Remastered” 2010 edition of Behind The Music: Duran Duran. This episode (unlike the original) address Duran’s continuing career covering the years of Pop Trash and then the split with Warren and how the original members came tgether to risk it all with an original band line up in the early 2000’s that lead to the release of Astronaut. Following that is more new footage regarding the Red Carpet Massacre release right up to the new single “All You Need Is now”. Over all both episodes together encompass a more complete look at the band. Both episodes from 1999 and 2010 have footage as well as interviews that the other episode does NOT have.
