UNIQUE VINTAGE 100% WOOL (BOTH SIDES) MEN’S SUITS PATCHWORK QUILT BLANKET MEASURING 86″X66″. This extremely handsome, homemade (via sewing machine) and well-made blanket/quilt was acquired in a Nashville, Tennessee antique shop in the mid-1970s. It was used briefly, dry cleaned, and then carefully stored since that time… with the exception of dry cleaning in 2022 and recent photos. The quilt has 100% wool patches from many different suits on both sides, so it is reversible. One side has a top and bottom border. The other has no border. The quilt is in very good condition, especially considering its age. The side with the border has 6 tiny 1/8″-1/4″ moth holes, 1 small blue ink stain, and 1 small burgundy ink stain. None are very noticeable when viewing the blanket as a whole due to the patchwork wool patterns. They only become noticeable when studying the blanket closely looking for flaws. The reverse side has 2 patchwork squares with wrinkles sewn into the patches. The quilt is pictured on a double bed. The first 2 full-length pics show it with the longest length from the headboard to the footboard. The next 2 pics show the quilt laying on the opposite side. Lastly, there are 2 pics showing it with the longest length going horizontally so you can see the drape length toward the floor. This handsome vintage quilt is made from quality men’s suits, and the double-sided 100% wool patches will keep the owner warm and cozy, whether used on a bed in the bedroom, as a throw on a living room couch, or camping in an RV or tent.
