This listing is for a refurbishing service for SEGA GENESIS 32X SYSTEM ONLY NO CONSOLE INCLUDED. I will professionally remove and install new high quality capacitors. Clean the system in and out, fix any cracked solder joints and replace the coil to prevent noise coming form the 32x. This recap service will also include the newly discovered video noise fix by Kevtris.The Sega 32X has famously unreliable video quality, with some units exhibiting serious noise. C17 (470uF 10V cap) will be replaced with a 2200uF 10V low-ESR cap.C30 (small SMD 4.7uF ceramic cap) will be replaced with a 100uf 6.3V SMD ceramic cap. Ceramic caps are low ESR.Bad capacitors and internal components can lead to the following problems:1) Low or no sound 2) Dim or no video (Will not fix vertical or horizontal lines) 3) No power 4) Colors are off or washed out on the screen While these problems can be caused by other issues with the system itself, faulty capacitors are notorious for causing these problems. However, it is important to point out that you shouldn’t purchase this repair optrion hoping it will fix your particular issue, unless you are sure faulty capacitors are the cause of the problem.This repair takes considerable soldering skills and knowledge. Please don’t attempt this repair without such skills as it could end up bricking your system. Furthermore soldering equipment is needed. The repair takes approximately 1.5-2 hours to complete and significant patience. All capacitors are high quality various branded capacitors including Panasonic, Nichicon, Rubycon and KEMET.All capacitors have the same ratings as the original ones in the system.For those that do not want to open your system after Recap/repair has been performed, I will can pictures of the repair/recap at your request.Please note that if you hear any whining from the system this is indication of the coil going bad on it.I have an option at the bottom that if you purchase I can remove the old coil and install a new, one and this should eliminate the coil whine coming from the system.Please contact me if you have any questions or special request. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS for A REFURBISHMENT SERVICE ONLY AND DOES NOT INCLUDE THE SYSTEM. The console must be 100% functional before choosing this upgrade. If the console is not working I also provide repair service for them as well but you must contact me first. Sometimes if the unit has a blue or gray screen or freezes it could be faulty caps. If no power, it could be the power fuse, power rectifier or main caps. You would need to contact me first to arrange a repair on it. 1 – After your Purchase (Buy it now). you will receive the shipping address . 2 – Please pack it securely and provide a tracking # in eBay messages . 3 – Console will be refurbished. 4 – Upgrade will only take a 2-3 business days (but usually gets done the same day and shipped the day after) please note that I have had to change the handling time from 4 days to 30 business days due to eBay’s shipping policies. They expect the item to be shipped in 4 days however, when you send the system to me that will take time and once I start working on it will take additional time as well.
